Alagesan as one who was responsible for the ICF in Perambur, Madras Refineries Ltd, and the Madras Fertilisers Ltd., in Manali, Surgical Instrument Factory in Nandambakkam, Atomic Power Plant I Kalpakkam, the second mine cut in Neyveli, electrification of the Railway line between Tambaram and Villupuram and many more such projects, which continue to bring immense benefits to the State.
